Our PayPoint®, Electronic Federal Tax Payment System, remitONE®, and state EFT solutions represent our primary electronic payment offerings.

PayPoint

PayPoint, an enterprise-wide payment gateway, centralizes the processing and management of payments across multiple agencies within a state or municipality. You can configure it separately for each agency and manage it in a unified fashion. PayPoint often resides behind an existing agency intake channel (web, kiosk, interactive voice response (IVR)). However, if such capability does not exist today, you can quickly configure the PayPoint Consumer Interface module to provide web and IVR capabilities. It offers your constituents a variety of payment options, including all major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic checks. Once a payment is submitted, PayPoint collects the payment information, authorizes the payment in real-time, and securely processes the payment with the bank and other financial institutions.

PayPoint is used across our client base and can be applied to a variety of program areas, including enterprise government applications. It brings you a host of advantages, including integration with applications and accounting systems, significant savings in fiscal and human resources, as well as the ability to process uniform, user-friendly payment transactions across diverse agencies.

Electronic Federal Tax Payment System

The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) is one of the largest electronic tax payment programs in the world, serving more than 10 million taxpayers and processing more than 83 million payments totaling $1.9 trillion annually. EFTPS services from First Data Government Solutions include: multi-channel payment options, taxpayer enrollment, payment reporting, taxpayer database maintenance, taxpayer customer service help desks, fulfillment services and reports to Financial Management Services (FMS), the IRS and the Federal Reserve.

remitONE

The remitONE service offers financial institutions unparalleled value by making it easier for your business clients to pay their government obligations on time using their preferred method of payment, without costly errors or process bottlenecks. The full-service, flexible electronic tax payment power of remitONE helps eliminate the cost of processing federal tax deposit coupons at the bank branch and in the back office, enabling payments to be sent faster, more accurately and more securely. Over 70 banks offer remitONE to their clients, enabling payments to 1200 tax types.

State EFT Programs

Many of our state clients leverage our electronic funds transfer (EFT) services. From tax to child support to labor, First Data Government Solutions enables businesses to pay their government obligations utilizing multiple payment origination methods including Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and web. Currently, we operate 29 state EFT programs.
